Because I could never understand why I would want to deprive myself, knowing full well that I would end up going back to my old habits the SECOND that diet was over.
I’m a food lover by genetics and by choice, and I always will be.
But I was starting to notice a problem…
I stepped on the scale for the first time in years and found myself at my absolute heaviest. I noticed I was becoming less and less comfortable in my own skin and I was picking out outfits for the sole purpose of covering up my body. Or, I was avoiding going out all together because I just wasn’t feeling like myself. My confidence was totally shot.
The bottom line was this….. I found myself out of shape, anxious and tired all the freaking time.
I did not look or feel my best, and I missed the old me.
Around the same time I was talking to one of my best friends on the phone who happened to be going through a detox program called the 30 Days to Healthy Living Program and she was already down 10 pounds.
